Alt Country is huge these days. Ryan Adams and Lucinda Wiliams tour the world and fill venues with hordes of rabid fans. But its not just the States that have wonderful Country artists. Roland K Smith and the Sinners are Sydney based Alt country rockers that will blow your socks off.  Great stories, a rockin’ country band and my favorite Australian country vocalist in Roland K Smith; This track was recorded on 24 track analogue at ‘The Brain’ studios in Sydney and mixed by Pete Doherty at Goose Studio.

Recording is like catching lightening in a bottle. When the magic happens you better hope the engineer has all the components in the right place and the correct order. This track by Mark Lucas and the Dead Setters  comes from the album ‘Sideshow Alley’ and captures that quality. It was recorded live at Goose and mixed by Glenn Skarratt  at his studio in the blue mountains.
